Xiangtan Haokang Ecological Materials Co., Ltd. Showcases Green Innovations During UAE Delegation Visit to Xiangtan

A delegation from the UAE Embassy in China came to Xiangtan City to discuss cooperation in desert agriculture, water treatment and other fields.
On June 23, 2025, a UAE delegation led by H.E. Abdullah Obaid Al Nuaimi, Commercial Counselor of the UAE Embassy in China, visited Xiangtan City for discussions on cooperation in desert agriculture and water treatment. Vice Mayor of Xiangtan, Mr. Li Guoda, participated in the talks and extended a warm welcome.
The delegation included representatives from the Abu Dhabi Investment Office, Ras Al Khaimah Economic Zone, and First Abu Dhabi Bank. During the afternoon session, the Xiangtan Bureau of Commerce organized a meeting between the delegation and key local enterprises. HOKBG a national high-tech and specialized innovative enterprise, introduced its core products and Middle East operations.
HOKBG presented three main product lines:
1.UV-Resistant Grow Bags: Widely used in nurseries across the UAE, over 100,000 units have been exported in the past three years. These bags help sequester carbon and support reforestation efforts, aligning directly with the UAE’s “Net Zero by 2050” strategy.
2.Geotextile Tubes and Silt Curtains: Designed for marine engineering applications, these products offer high strength, permeability, and UV resistance. They’ve been applied in major projects like the Zhuhai artificial island of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge and the Jazan Economic City development by Saudi Aramco, contributing to both land reclamation and marine ecological protection.
3.Innovative pallet-free ton bag. This product does not require the assistance of traditional pallets and can be directly used for bulk material transportation, significantly saving costs and space. It has obtained patent certification in Australia, Japan and the European Union and is suitable for the packaging needs of polyolefins and resin pellets exported in large quantities by the UAE.
H.E. Abdullah Al Nuaimi praised HOKBG’s green
innovation and expressed strong interest in further collaboration, inviting Xiangtan enterprises to explore cooperation opportunities in the UAE.
Vice Mayor Li highlighted the complementarity between Xiangtan and the UAE in sustainable development and eco-friendly solutions. He encouraged deepening investment and trade ties to achieve mutual benefit and long-term success.
This meeting laid a strong foundation for future cooperation and opened new avenues for HOKBG to expand into international markets.
