HOKBG Showcases UV-Resistant Geo Tubes and Integrated Silt Curtains at the Changsha Cross-Border E-Commerce Fair
From September 4 to 6, 2026, Xiangtan Hao kang Ecological Materials Co., Ltd. (HOKBG) participated in the Changsha Cross-Border E-Commerce Fair in Hunan, China.
During the exhibition, HOKBG presented a range of environmental engineering, marine construction, and functional woven fabric products. Among them, the company placed particular emphasis on its UV-resistant geotextile tubes (UV-resistant Geo Tubes) and integrated UV-resistant, water-permeable silt curtains, demonstrating HOKBG's professional capabilities in geosynthetic manufacturing and marine environmental protection.
The exhibition provided an important opportunity for HOKBG to present its products to international buyers, understand overseas market requirements, and communicate directly with customers from different industries and regions.
UV-Resistant Geo Tubes for Dredging, Dewatering and Coastal Engineering
One of the key products presented by HOKBG was the UV-resistant Geo Tube, designed for demanding applications in dredging, dewatering, coastal engineering, and land reclamation.
A geotextile tube is a large tubular structure manufactured from high-strength geotextile fabric. Depending on project requirements, the tube can be customized in terms of diameter, length, fabric strength, and inlet and outlet configurations.
One of its major applications is dredged sludge dewatering.
Dredging projects often generate large volumes of high-water-content sludge that can be difficult and expensive to transport and dispose of. By pumping dredged material into a geotextile tube, water can pass through the permeable fabric while solid particles are retained inside the tube.
This separation process significantly reduces the volume of dredged material and creates a more manageable solid mass for subsequent treatment, transportation, filling, or disposal.
When suitable flocculants are used together with the geotextile tube system, the dewatering process can be further improved, allowing the retained solids to consolidate more efficiently.
Beyond sludge dewatering, HOKBG geotextile tubes can also be used for coastal protection, shoreline stabilization, beach creation, land reclamation, containment structures, and soft ground improvement.
For coastal and island projects, geotextile tubes can be strategically positioned to form stable engineering structures, reduce wave impact, stabilize shorelines, and create suitable conditions for subsequent sand placement and beach formation.
A major focus of HOKBG's product development is UV resistance and long-term durability. Geotextile tubes used in outdoor and marine environments may be exposed to strong sunlight, moisture, saltwater, and other environmental conditions. UV resistance is therefore an important consideration for long-term performance.
HOKBG develops and manufactures geotextile tube products with durability requirements suited to different project environments, providing professional material solutions for demanding coastal and outdoor applications.

Integrated UV-Resistant Silt Curtains for Effective Sediment Control
Another major product showcased at the exhibition was HOKBG's Integrated UV-resistant, water-permeable Silt Curtain.
During port construction, dredging, bridge construction, coastal engineering, and other marine construction activities, suspended sediments can spread beyond the working area with currents and tidal movement. This can increase water turbidity and affect the surrounding aquatic environment.
A silt curtain provides a practical environmental protection measure by helping contain suspended sediments around the construction zone.
One of the key features of HOKBG's silt curtain is its integrated one-piece structure.
Compared with conventional segmented or multi-section designs, an integrated structure reduces connection points and improves overall structural integrity. This makes the curtain better suited to challenging marine environments where waves, currents, and tidal changes can place continuous stress on the system.
The curtain is manufactured using high-strength, water-permeable filtration fabric. Water can pass through the curtain while suspended sediments are effectively controlled within the designated area.
This combination of permeability and sediment containment helps reduce turbidity outside the construction zone and minimizes the environmental impact of marine construction activities.
Another distinctive feature of HOKBG's silt curtain is its sandbag ballast system.
Instead of using conventional metal chains as bottom ballast, HOKBG uses sandbags to keep the curtain in position. Metal chains can corrode in seawater, producing rust and potentially creating sharp edges that may damage or cut the curtain fabric.
The sandbag ballast system eliminates this corrosion-related risk and helps improve the durability and service performance of the silt curtain in marine environments.
HOKBG pays close attention to the overall curtain structure, fabric strength, water permeability, ballast system, and installation requirements to ensure that its silt curtains can meet the practical needs of dredging, port construction, coastal engineering, reclamation, water environmental management, and marine environmental protection projects.

Four Product Categories Demonstrate HOKBG's Manufacturing Expertise
In addition to the two core marine engineering products, HOKBG also presented its High-strength, UV-resistant Grow Bags and Pallet-free Bulk Bags at the exhibition.
The high-strength, UV-resistant grow bags are designed for long-term outdoor planting and agricultural applications, while the pallet-free bulk bags provide a practical packaging solution for material handling, transportation, and storage.
Although these products serve different markets, they demonstrate HOKBG's broader manufacturing capabilities in high-strength woven materials, UV-resistant fabrics, geosynthetics, and functional industrial textiles.
Participation in the Changsha Cross-Border E-Commerce Fair provided HOKBG with an important opportunity to communicate with international customers and gain a deeper understanding of global demand for high-performance environmental and engineering materials.
Looking ahead, Xiangtan Hao kang Ecological Materials Co., Ltd. (HOKBG) will continue to focus on the development and manufacturing of high-performance geosynthetic and ecological engineering materials.
With professional product design, strict quality control, and extensive application experience, HOKBG is committed to providing reliable Geotextile Tube, Silt Curtain, and Geotextile solutions for customers involved in marine construction, dredging, coastal engineering, environmental protection, and infrastructure development worldwide.
